This cluster harnesses partnerships with museums, heritage organisations and professional practitioners to unlock new sources of data (e.g. chemical analysis of finds, bioarchaeological archives) and link previously fragmented records with new open platforms. We also aim to address specific challenges around ‘sacred heritage’.
The cluster supports and nurtures the development of impact across the Research Division, including Impact Case Studies for the next REF, through peer review/support mechanisms and targeted training e.g. on linked open databases.
