Traffic light guidelines for Strieker Physiotherapy
Changes to clinic procedures during the traffic light system in NZ.
Clients must not attend if unwell.
Clients and physiotherapist to sanitise hands before and after each appointment.
Clients and physiotherapist to wear a mask during clinic appointments.
A 1 metre social distance will be maintained whenever practical during the consultation.
The treatment plinth, door handles and all equipment touched will be sanitised after every client.
All linen will be washed after every use.
Appointments will be 5 minutes shorter to allow time for clinic cleaning. It will also reduce the chance of contact between clients. Please wait in your car until your appointment time.
Physiotherapist to sign ACC and consent forms on behalf of the client as appropriate.
Telehealth appointments are still the preferred option in the traffic light settings, especially for vulnerable clients. Please ask if you would prefer a virtual appointment.
